Building trust
in medical
innovation.
For Fortis' Advanced Robotic Centre, the real challenge was not selling a robot. It was convincing patients that a robot in the operating room meant safer surgery, better recovery, and human care.
Establish a new healthcare category, and win patient trust.
Fortis had invested in advanced robotic surgical technology and needed to establish category leadership in Bengaluru while educating prospective patients that robotic surgery is safe, precise, minimally invasive, and a credible alternative to conventional procedures.
Three business messages had to land simultaneously: Fortis pioneered robotic surgery in Bengaluru; robotic surgery delivers greater precision and better outcomes; and patients can confidently trust Fortis' expertise and technology.
The challenge was to simplify a highly technical medical subject into clear, patient-friendly communication without compromising clinical credibility.
Creative strategy & communication lead.
I led the campaign's creative strategy and communication development, translating complex medical information into compelling, trust-building marketing assets while working across medical experts, brand teams and production partners.

Confidence. Safety. Better outcomes.
Instead of promoting the robot itself, the campaign led with what matters most to patients precision, minimal invasiveness, faster recovery, less pain, smaller scars, less blood loss, shorter hospital stays. Technology stayed in service of outcomes.
Shifted the conversation from robotic technology to patient outcomes: confidence, safety, recovery.
Every asset led with a specific patient benefit, not a technical feature or hardware spec.
Clean medical aesthetics and clinical credibility replaced the fear-imagery healthcare defaults to.
Anchored Fortis as Bengaluru's first Advanced Robotic Centre. A first-mover claim, consistently repeated.
A repeatable creative system for talking about complex procedures across multiple specialties.
Innovation, framed with reassurance.
Clean medical aesthetics. Minimal distractions. High-impact surgical visuals. Benefit-led headlines. Every creative highlighted a specific patient outcome instead of putting the robot on a pedestal.

- “A prostate cancer surgery that saves life as well as sexual function.”
- “A donor kidney surgery with the fastest patient recovery.”
